JOZHY BAIZA

Who, or perhaps a better question is, what is Jozhy Baiza?

It is a name for various projects by the musician Jošt Lampret, to which he invites different musicial performers to create new ensembles, stories and compositions, and explore new musical styles. For this occasion, he will present himself with a trio for the first time, in which he plays together with the excellent musicians Nejc Škofic on keyboards and Žiga Šercer on percussion. Together they will venture into the wonderful world of flamenco music. (photo: Nada Žgank )

OR POIESIS (alias Petra Kapš)

OR poiesis is an artist and researcher in the field of sound, sound perception, and poetic performance. She expands words in sonic spheres of the time–space poetry. Despite all the digital dimensions, her central interest is the physical presence of the body. In the broader opus of her artistic practice, she explores the modalities of silences and potentialities that are offered by silent environments in listening to subtle acoustic qualities of substances and voice. OR poiesis will present the KAMIsTONE project. It is an instrument with which the author tunes the frequency fields of rocks, performance space, and all present entities and invites into the sonic substrate of minerals and liquids. Field and material recordings are used in the performance. (photo: Boštjan Lah, Emanat)
